Progress Report

The project will in 3 phases

First Phase:specific scope of work and requisition for this winter's work only. That work includes:
Moving SIWS' from 321 and 322 to 325 and 326
Moving SIWS, projector and screen from 124 to 119
Installing infrastructure necessary to support new 347
Cabling will be done by college while coordinating work with facilities.

Phase two:

Design documents are still being reviewed and modified. Work expected during the spring semester:
First floor office area
321/322 practice lab

Phase three:

For work performed over summer:
Sim Suite
Minor modifications to third floor office suite

EOC department moving from HSC to CAFRITZ on Dec 9th.
The cabling has been completed
HSC nursing review with facilities
Coordinating work with facilities for a part of the project
Preparing cabling quote

EOC department may be moving as a part this project. Timeline and number of users not determined as of today. Meeting with facilities and client preset for Oct 21st.
The relocation area for EOC is ready with data and voice.

IT progress meeting on estimated timelines and equipment

Progress Update

Schematic drawings have been done.
Facilities will be funding the 13 laptops and 1 WS.
Media resource campus manager is controlling the AV and SIM equipment.
Starting date is in the middle of November.
Cabling contractor is scheduled to be onsite for a walkthrough on Sept. 2 with college cabling group.
Facilities are working with the nursing (client) to try and start some work earlier then the middle of November. Possible start some work in September. No decision has of today. Sept 1st, 2011.
An E-mails has been sent to resource management for quotes on laptops and workstation
Follow up on cabling quote from vendor

Follow up on laptops and WS quotes.
Follow with facilities on any new timeline for the project.

A meeting is setup for June 9th with the client to review their IT requirements for each renovated location.
Reviewed the schematic drawings and estimated data drop location for each renovated area.
Prepared drawing with data drop locations.
Follow up with facilities on the schematic design.
Follow up with client for any additional information for other work to start prior to the actual construction timeline.
